Alex Wasinowicz has retired from full-time School Teaching due to his decline in fitness and health, but will continue to provide support for schools on supply when needed and when he's available.
At 60 years of age Alex has fulfilled his childhood dream and all he has ever wanted to do, which was to become a school teacher, an aspiration he achieved in style by being awarded a 1st Class Hons Degree and in turn proving once again since becoming a Professional British Soldier how easy it is to prove people in general wrong... "Never underestimate those with an ability to adapt" for it is because of Military training from which had impacted greatly upon Alex's way of life that he possesses such confidence and resilience who plans and prepares every little thing he does in detail that has helped secure Alex to retire without any need for support of a pension.
Alex's life since he himself had left school has been exciting and very dangerous... A life that he misses but at 60 years of age...life must slow down as he now focusses on improving upon his fitness and his health.
Alex has been trained to work under intense pressure however he also understands about the impact on one's mental health working day in and day out under these conditions. And as the ageing process becomes evident... so does one's deterioration in health... Something that Alex had planned to address before age caught up on him...
Alex Wasinowicz will now be spending his time training to get fit and healthy in the UK and in Italy where he owns property... Living the Dolce Vita!!!
"Wakening up in the morning or afternoon without having to adhere to following regulations that governs a position in society is a reminder of how I once lived... and how much I appreciate 'TIME' now belonging to myself... Once again!"

I am 61years of age and am a former international boxer who represented Scotland on several occasions; from which I was then called upon to represent GB in Pro - Kickboxing. I am also a former Army PT Instructor, and a former Company Director in Health and Fitness. I continue working as a PE School Teacher only on supply and when I'm available, as I have been recruited as a Wellness/Fitness Consultant and Personal Trainer for an independent body. Only recently I have complied with recruitment to attain further qualifications in Health and Fitness and am pleased to have successfully achieved this with distinction. As part of my CPD, I continue to further my knowledge in health and fitness so I can deliver up-to-date methods of training to help motivate my clients further to achieving their goals.
